Sliders make case for home run rule
In a display of power never before seen by this author in the Cindy La
Rue league the Sliders pounded the Purple People Eaters 24-19 (only a
last-inning rally by Purple made it that close). With that win
the Sliders took over first place. The latest standings are
now posted.
Equipment and Umpiring Responsibilities
Please
remember that it is very important to fulfill your team's umpiring and
equipment responsibilities when called upon. It helps keep our
league registration fees way down. The schedule for umpiring
assignments and equipment pickup is here,
and team managers are notified weekly of the upcoming responsibilties.
